NEW BUSINESS Change in the by-laws regarding attendance. It is being put forth to have 65% mandatory attendance….WBC has 22 meetings a year so essentially a member can miss 7 meetings during the year. There will no longer be excused and unexcused absences. If one is going to miss extended periods of time a representative from their office or business may attend the meeting in the member’s behalf. Mona will e-mail a draft to all the members. It will then be discussed and voted on at the next meeting. The amendment will go into effect the first of January. A moratorium against negativity in WBC has been instituted. We are to be a positive, support to each other and our businesses. Limit the gossiping and be respectful of others during the meetings. Everyone needs to keep their negative thoughts to themselves. Leads: 52 Inside 48 Outside 4 Door Prize Winner: Susan Lowe (and NO the drawing is NOT rigged) Quote of the day: Ability is what gives you the opportunity; belief is what gets you there. |
